Ryan Parker

Ryan Parker is the RE and Christian Ethos Adviser for the Diocese of St Albans. He supports schools in enabling the spiritual flourishing of pupils and adults through training and resource development. He is particularly interested in how pupils’ spirituality can be enriched through culture, curriculum and collective worship.

Outside of work, he recently completed part-time doctoral research (University of Birmingham) in the teaching of religious education. He advocates for a self-reflective, knowledge-rich religious education which recognises and positions students as competent meaning-making agents.
