Miquel Àngel Pulido-Rodríguez

Professor in the School of Psychology, Education and Sports Science
Miguel Ángel Pulido-Rodríguez is a professor and researcher at Blanquerna – Ramon Llull University (Barcelona), where he coordinates the area of Faith and Spirituality across its three faculties. His work focuses on how education can foster inclusive spirituality, particularly through dialogic and community-based approaches that promote meaning-making, democratic participation, and the prevention of exclusion. He is currently leading a research project as principal investigator titled “Dialogic Education as a Source of Inclusive Spirituality”, exploring how dialogic practices can strengthen children’s spiritual development in public schools in Spain and Brazil, not only as a path to more profound meaning-making but also as a key factor contributing to educational success and improved learning outcomes.
As chair of SACRU’s Working Group on Formative Proposals Related to Faith and Spirituality, he contributes to international dialogue on the social impact of faith- and spirituality-based educational initiatives in higher education. Pulido collaborates with the GREDA research group on religion and spirituality in education and coordinates the Expert Group on Curricular Identity within the Christian School Network of Catalonia. His publications explore the intersection of spirituality, children’s voices, interreligious dialogue, gender justice, and educational transformation across diverse educational settings.
