Dr. Ruth Wills
Ruth Wills has recently gained a Phd in Philosophy of Education from the University of Winchester, U.K. She is now a visiting fellow of the university, and retains links with the School of Philosophy as well as the Faculty of Education, Health and Social Care. Her research interests include learning as a spiritual phenomenon, the spiritual dimension of music and holocaust education..
Ruth is also a teacher in a Primary school, teaching both Music and History to children aged 7 to 11. She is a foster carer to a teenage boy and is keen to research links between spirituality and social care.
She has been involved with the International Association for Children’s Spirituality since its inception and has served as Secretary for a number of years. She is also a member of the Philosophy of Education Society of Great Britain and the British Education Studies Association.
