The Children and Worldviews Project explores qualitative, narrative methods to investigate the worldviews of children, that is, the way in which they make sense of their experiences and matters which are of particular importance to them.
Christian's Story
My cat is important to me cos he always licks my ear and puts its paws on me. I give my cat cuddles. Lots of people say animals are special, its because they're cuddly and cos they're not just like a bunch of fur or anything. They're just like us but they can't answer back and like they don't argue and they're not spiteful.
My cat pesters me for food, when I go in the kitchen, every time I go out or my Mum, or someone gets up and goes into the kitchen both of my cats follow them in.
I had two kittens and one of them died. You're sad when your pet dies.

Hi Christian I found your story really good because I like pets too, talking about your Cats we had are next door niebough cat in our house and when we move, the cat goes racing in the kitchen and starts meowing sometimes it falls asleep next to the fridge.
I find it upsetting when a pet that really means somthing to you dies like my hamsters did which was really bad because it died on my birthday which is 31st of december new years eve.
