Ruth Wills
Ruth Wills currently works as a part time music teacher in a Catholic Primary school in Wigan, UK and is also an affiliate of the Christian mission organisation, ‘Scripture Union’. She will begin doctoral studies in 2010.
Her main area of interest is children's spirituality in relation to the performing arts and her Master's thesis explored the spiritual responses of children to music in particular. She has recently written Showstoppers! which is an arts based holiday club resource book for use with Primary age children, and allows children to explore the bible in creative ways.
Ruth also runs 'Spirituality days' in Primary schools, where spiritual aspects of the curriculum and classroom life are identified and developed. These days also allow children to wonder, question and consider aspects of life beyond the immediate and current. Read or download Ruth's longer article Spirituality days

Ruth hopes to expand the work of her Spirituality days and is available for teaching and training opportunities as well as any collaborative research work.
